Client Profile

Our small batch whiskies are released only when they reach perfect maturity, not a particular age. We don’t look for shortcuts, instead we respect whisky making tradition. Each barrel is curated over the course of its aging, carefully matching its character to the barrel it will finish its maturation in, creating the perfect final whisky.

We are continuously looking for innovative ways to make unique spirits and showcase Vancouver Island terroir by using distinctive local ingredients. Wild picked berries, locally farmed rhubarb, and award-winning Cowichan Valley wine barrels are just some of the ways we express terroir in our spirits.

The Problem

The team at Stillhead, a well-established Vancouver Island distillery known for its award-winning spirits and small-batch releases, recognized that their existing website no longer reflected the growth of their brand. As their lineup expanded to include premium gins, craft whiskies, seasonal releases, tasting experiences, and merchandise, the site struggled to showcase the full scope of what they offered. It lacked a modern, responsive design, clear pathways for exploring products, and a streamlined structure for promoting new bottle drops, tastings, and events. Without a flexible platform to highlight their latest releases and guide customers smoothly from browsing to purchasing, opportunities were being missed to engage visitors, differentiate from competitors, and convert interest into sales and tasting-room bookings.

Our Solution

To solve Stillhead’s challenges, we built a complete website overhaul shaped around how the distillery operates today. The new platform pairs a clean, modern design with a flexible structure that supports everything from product launches to tasting-room updates. We developed a streamlined product system where the Stillhead team can quickly post new bottles, limited releases, and merchandise with full details, images, and purchase options. We also organized the site to clearly present their story, production methods, awards, and visitor experiences, making it easier for customers to understand what sets Stillhead apart. Behind the scenes, we built an easy-to-manage dashboard so their team can update content, add new releases, and keep information current without extra steps or technical hurdles. The outcome is a polished, scalable website that reflects the quality of the Stillhead brand, improves customer engagement, and helps convert online visitors into buyers and tasting-room guests.
